The CompanyAtelier Vision was founded in 2004 by John and Julie Jupe. It is primarily a research based organisation that generates IP for development by licensing. Its IP portfolio is centred around enhancements to visual representation for the film, animation, and virtual reality environments. Underpinning the IP has been the generation of a ‘new form of illusionary space’ - termed as Vision-Space. Vision Space will replace all 2D picture space environments (film, animation & virtual reality). It is our belief that nothing as significant as this has happened to 2D representation since the formalisation of perspective and the invention of the camera. Pilot projects deploying Vision-Space in commercial projects and productions are underway. The company is located near Bristol in the UK.
